James Drummond Anderson (1852–1920) : ウィキペディア英語版 | James Drummond Anderson (1852–1920) Dr. James Drummond Anderson, Litt.D. (died 1920) was a member of the Indian Civil Service from 1873 until 1900, and later a lecturer in Benagli at the University of Cambridge. He published a collection of Kachari folk-tales, of Chittagong proverbs, and other works on the languages of North-East India, usually under the name of "J. D. Anderson". His eldest son was James Drummond Anderson (1886–1968), and another son was William Louis Anderson, Anglican Bishop of firstly Portsmouth and then Salisbury. ==References==
